Some information presented in structural wiki is harvested from external resources.

Data harvested from BridgeArt.net software database

Basic information about software, software companies, design codes and data formats is to be entered into the BridgeArt.net software database and including into the structural wiki via several custom tags. The following custom tags are used to create corresponding databoxes based on the data contained in the BridgeArt.net software database:

No databox is needed for keywords as the description would be entered directly into the wiki.

Hyperlinking of Corresponding StructuralWiki.org and BridgeArt.net Items

The bridgeart.net software database contains a script that automatically create wiki links, if the corresponding wiki entry (software, publisher, keyword, data format, or design code) has been manually entered into the wiki using the above tags. The presence of a particular item in the wiki is be determined from the tag parameter of the semantic markup. This tag matches between this wiki and software database and the software database checks the presence of the tag in the wiki using list available from Template:Software_Database_Tags.

Entry Guidelines

Software

• Multiple pages relevant to a particular software can be created.
• The pages will be grouped together by using a Template:Software Infobox template with the matching tag on each page.
• The main page will contain a databox harvested from BridgeArt.net using the <software_database_software_databox> tag. This will automatically assign the main page to Category:Software.

Example: SAP2000

Software Categories

• Pages for software categories are populated by using the Template:List of Software for Software Category template. These pages do not typically need to be edited after the initial setup.
• All software category pages are placed in the SoftwareCategory namespace.

Example: SoftwareCategory:Bridge_Design

Software Publisher

• Multiple pages relevant to a particular software publisher can be created.
• The pages will be grouped together by using Template:Software Company Infobox with the matching tag on each page.

Keyword

• Multiple pages relevant to a particular software publisher can be created.
• The pages will be grouped together by using Template:Keyword Infobox with the matching tag on each page.

Design Code

• Multiple pages relevant to a particular design code can be created.
• The pages will be grouped together by using Template:Design Code Infobox with the matching tag on each page.

Data Format

• Multiple pages relevant to a particular software publisher can be created.
• The pages will be grouped together by using a Template:Data Format Infobox with the matching tag on each page.
